Kia ora, I’m Kathryn and I’m an experienced Rotorua piano teacher who works with local students of all ages and abilities from my studio in Springfield.
My goal as a piano teacher, is that each of my students would find learning to play the piano a fulfilling, enjoyable experience. One that develops confidence, provides a point of connection with others and an outlet for personal expression. If you live in Rotorua and are looking for a local piano teacher for your child or are wanting lessons for yourself, I’d love to help.
Lessons are held weekly over a 10 week term and can be 15, 30 or 60 minutes long. Together we discuss what your goals are and I put together a programme that will help you achieve them. I’m comfortable working with students who are learning purely for their own enjoyment and also with students who are motivated to level up their playing, set challenging goals for themselves and achieve success in performances, exams and competitions.
ONLINE LESSONS
In addition to face-to-face lessons, I also offer online tuition for teenagers and adults, who are able to schedule a connection time that accommodates the NZ time zone.
Online lessons are on a 1:1 basis, are 30 minutes long and structured into a 10 week term that you pay for in advance.
They are suitable for beginners or students who are at an intermediate level in their playing experience.
